I went to see Moon Womb at a friend’s brewery in September and was glad I got out for the early afternoon show. The band is described as "doom folk" but I’d mention decriptors like slowcore and post-rock to go with that. I’ve been rotating this record since seeing them live. Moon Womb fit perfectly within my love for thoughtful, moody, heavy rock with female vocals.
